Sales & Operations Manager (Heavy Equipment Workshop)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company with a core focus on fabrication and workshop. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15 years' experience sales & operations for the job of Sales & Operations Manager. The job is based in Samarinda, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report to the GM
  • Develop effective and efficient sales methods in the area
  • Establish sales standards and guidelines, and develop sales estimates based on data analysis and sales trends
  • Establish company sales targets, plan sales strategies, and develop demand plans in the area
  • Oversee the prospecting process for potential customers and control offering activities, starting from proposal preparation, product presentations, and the negotiation process to letters of agreement with customers in the area
  • Monitor administration based on completed reconciliations
  • Review the preparation and implementation of key account management programs in the area
  • Monitor asset commercialization processes, from planning to follow-up on tenant performance in the area
  • Oversee sales orders, monitor sales performance assessments, sales reports, and maintain a customer database in the area

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related major from reputable university
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a managerial position in the heavy equipment reconditioning/remanufacturing industry, with a proven track record of sales and operations
  • Strong in business development strategy and commercial acumen
  • Strong networking in mining and heavy industry client
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, production technology, and safety program development.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as develop employee talent and skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Good understanding of applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations in the industry.
  • Willing to be based in Samarinda
