Our respected client is seeking a seasoned engineer with 10-15 years of solid experience as a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within our electronics manufacturing facilities. This role is critical to enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest quality in our production processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the electronics industry and a proven track record of implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. You'll be responsible for analysing complex workflows, designing and implementing solutions, and mentoring a team of engineers to drive a culture of continuous improvement. This will be base in Laguna & Cavite.
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager - Industrial Engineer will analyse, design, and implement manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. This includes conducting time and motion studies, capacity analysis, and workflow optimization.
Key job responsibilities include:.
Project Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams on a variety of engineering projects from concept to completion. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
Continuous Improvement:
- Utilize and champion methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and non-value-added activities. Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Technical Analysis:
- Use statistical analysis and simulation software to interpret complex data, assess process performance, and provide data driven recommendations to management.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with product design, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in industrial engineering.
Documentation & Standards:
- Develop and maintain standardized work instructions, process flow charts, and other technical documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards and regulations.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt) are a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, with a significant portion of that time spent in the electronics or consumer technology manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Expertise in process mapping, workflow analysis, and time studies.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Experience with new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability (DFM).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
