Service Engineer (Kuala Lumpur)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting for a Service Engineer on behalf of our German client specializing in machinery and complete process solutions for feed, biomass, recycling, and industrial pelleting applications, serving customers worldwide.
Job Summary:
This role involves overseeing setup and start-up of supplied equipment locally and internationally, managing projects through handover, resolving technical issues methodically, enhancing equipment performance, coordinating with third-party partners, and conducting practical training for client teams.
Job Description:
- Installation supervision and commissioning of delivered machines and systems at our customers' sites in Germany and abroad.
- Support for complete systems up to final acceptance.
- Structured troubleshooting of technical malfunctions.
- Optimization of machines and systems.
- Support for external contractors.
- On-site training in installation and maintenance personnel.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics.
- Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, or similar, ideally with further training as a certified technician.
- PLC programming skills, ideally S7/TIA Portal.
- Experience in process visualization, InTouch, and TIA Portal.
- Sound knowledge of automation and drive technology.
- A high degree of customer focus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Above-average willingness to travel internationally.
- Good English skills and/or knowledge of another foreign language.
