Technical Sales Engineer (Kuala Lumpur)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer on behalf of our German client specializing in machinery and complete process solutions for feed, biomass, recycling, and industrial pelleting applications, serving customers worldwide.
Job Summary:
The selected candidates will be responsible for driving revenue for equipment and replacement components, provide technical advisory to clients and prospects, lead initial commercial discussions, assist regional offices, expand networks through industry events and visits, work cross-functionally to deliver projects, and guide customers during product testing sessions at the application facility.
Job Description:
- Execute sales of machinery and equipment, including spare and wear parts.
- Process engineering consulting for our customers and prospective clients.
- Preliminary negotiation of terms and contracts.
- Support for the activities of our branches and subsidiaries.
- Regular trade fair and sales trips to build and strengthen customer relationships and contacts.
- Close collaboration with relevant departments (project management, technology, after-sales, etc.) and support in project execution.
- Support for prospective clients during trials at our technical center.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical training and business acumen, ideally with sales experience in the field of mechanical and plant engineering.
- Professional experience as an account/sales manager is desirable.
- Knowledge of milling technology is a plus.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Customer focus, negotiation skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Flexible and have a proactive work style, willing to travel internationally.
- Willingness to travel and openness to other cultures.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
