Responsibilities

Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning

Technical Requirements:

Hands-on experience automating and streamlining build, test, and deployment phases for continuous integration
Hands-on with AWS or GCP cloud services (EC2, EKS, IAM, Monitoring, RDS, GKE, GCE)
Solid knowledge of networking & security (VPN, routing, firewall, identity management)
Strong Shell Scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Go, PHP a plus)
Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, NewRelic, Elastic, OpenTelemetry a plus)
Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Terraform for infrastructure management
Experience managing databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis; SQL Server nice to have)

Non-Technical Requirements:

Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, for a remote work environment
Clear and leading in technical discussions, capable of proposing and implementing innovative solutions
