I started working at Monroe Consulting Group in 2012, right after I graduated from my MBA program. Although I had a couple of years’ experience in the consumer goods and IT sectors, I didn’t have any direct experience in recruitment. This proved to be no barrier to success as I instantly fell in love with the job. It is thrilling, and no day is the same. The excitement really causes you to fall deeper into the job and absorb as much as you can.

As a newbie in the field, I did enjoy Monroe’s positive work culture, the training provided, the continual support of its management and the amazing youthful working environment. The company views its employees as real assets; it strives to ensure the wellbeing, health, balance and growth of its consultants.

I managed to deliver an excellent performance as a recruitment consultant, and in my 10th month I was promoted to Senior Consultant and 4 months later, I received another promotion to be head of the Technology Division, before taking leading an Industrial division of 10 people. Taking a look back at the journey, it is clear that Monroe’s internal training system has been the key to my success. Its structured training from a class environment to formal introduction to the industry has shaped me into the person I am today.

People say I date my job and profession, which I can’t deny. I am in love with the job. I always proudly mention that I am a recruiter from Monroe Consulting Group. After all, this job doesn’t only impact on my professional life but weighs on my personal life as well. As someone who lives independently, Monroe has supported my life on a number of different fronts. The hard-work has been worth it – what used to be expensive became affordable. I can afford a car, an apartment and have traveled to many countries. Simply, I would say that Monroe has been perfect for me.
