Senior Sales Executive (Chemical)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading chemical trading company in Indonesia. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 3-7 years of experience in chemical or raw material ingredients industries, particularly handling the food market segment, for the position of Senior Sales Executive. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Job responsibilities : Manage and develop existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities within the food industry segment Promote and sell raw materials and ingredients for food applications, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends Collaborate with the technical team to provide product recommendations, trials, and formulation support for customers Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify potential growth areas Achieve sales targets and profitability goals through effective sales planning and execution Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support business growth Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields from a reputable university Minimum 3-7 years of working experience in the chemical or raw material ingredients industry, specifically handling the food segment (experience in fragrance ingredients for food is a plus) Proven track record in sales and business development, with strong product and market knowledge in the food sector Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Proactive, target-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team environment Good analytical skills and ability to identify customer needs and market opportunities Willing to travel as required
