Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the exclusive distributors of concessionaire wines and liquors. Our respected client is seeking for an Assistant Finance Manager who will oversee finance related activities within the organization. This position is with onsite work requirement, located in Makati City.
The Role:
The Assistant Finance Manager will support the management in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The role involves supervising the accounting team, managing daily financial activities, and assisting in budget preparation and analysis.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Assist in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and guide team within the Accounting Department.
- Monitor payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timely payouts.
- Review and maintain the company's accounting system and financial records.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.
- Support management with financial insights to aid decision-making.
- Perform other related tasks assigned by the Finance Manager or General Manager.
Key Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- With at least 6 months of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Preferably with experience as a general accountant.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and accounting systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, supervisory, and communication skills.
- Willing to work onsite in Makati.
