Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational FMCG company. The client is looking for a Finance Analyst is responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring financial activities related to the factory's cost systems. This role is based onsite at the company's Antipolo, Rizal plant, operating on a Monday to Friday schedule.

Job Summary
The Finance Analyst is responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring financial activities related to the factory's cost systems, including the analysis of product costs, contribution margins, and detailed breakdowns of prime, conversion, and logistics costs. The role supports the factory's overall financial governance, reporting, analysis, and performance planning, while ensuring control over P&L and cash performance. The Finance Analyst will also act as a finance co-pilot to factory leadership, providing strategic insights and financial guidance in areas such as forecasting, investment evaluation, productivity, and value leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Finance Co-pilot to the Factory Director and management team by providing financial advice and insights to support sound operational and strategic decisions.
  • Support strategy definition and implementation by developing and evaluating long-term strategies, forecasts, and investment plans (including MPAR processes).
  • Manage and execute the factory's financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, including CapEx and depreciation management, cost analysis, and management accounting.
  • Own and monitor the factory's P&L and cash performance, identifying business issues, risks, and opportunities, and recommending corrective or improvement actions.
  • Partner with factory leadership to drive cost efficiency and productivity initiatives, including new product costing, cost savings projects, and profitability analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and implement robust procedures to strengthen cost control, budget discipline, and factory financial governance.
  • Manage and oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate accruals, product costing (BOM), and intercompany pricing (ICP) reporting; analyze and explain ICP movements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of standard costing processes and maintenance of product cost structures.
  • Collaborate with finance support partners (e.g., MGS, Genpact, ICTC) to resolve system, reporting, and accounting issues as needed.

Job Specifications / Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA qualification or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or factory operations.
  • Proven background in financial analysis, reporting, and performance management within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and budget control.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in CapEx analysis, forecasting, and standard costing processes.
