Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on industrial estate. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least twenty years' experience in Industrial Estate for the job of Head of Technical & Engineering. The job is based in Cikarang, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Ensure site development and sale of land are according to the agreed master plan
  • Act as technical support for operational enablement
  • Manage construction of plants and infrastructure
  • Set and ensure safety standards, guidelines and processes are implemented
  • Manage, monitor, evaluate and ensure the implementation of construction work for the Industrial Plant & Utility project package.
  • Manage, monitor, evaluate and ensure the implementation of the commissioning & start up process and performance test until the issuance of an operational acceptance certificate for the Industrial Plant & Utility project package.
  • Manage, monitor, evaluate and ensure post operational acceptance (warranty period) activities for the Industrial Plant & Utility project package.
  • Manage, monitor, evaluate and ensure project quality (project quality assessment & monitoring, project quality audit, and project quality control) for the Industrial Plant & Utility project package.
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate the preparation and implementation of work/function unit Work Plans and Budgets (RKA).
  • Managing, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of HSSE aspects and supporting HSSE programs in work units/functions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in business administration, engineering or other relevant discipline, or equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum 20 years' experience in Industrial Estate
  • Proven track record in technical and engineering of Industrial Estate
  • Knowledge of estate regulations
  • Analytical skills and understanding of construction of plants and infrastructure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with teams and networks and influence outcomes at many levels in an organization
  • Excellent project management skills on Master Planning & Estate Management, Engineering, Project Management, Infrastructure Maintenance and SHE
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are mandatory
  • Influencing and networking skills
  • Strong strategic to handle end-to-end construction within expected quality, on time and within budget
  • Solid leadership skills, mentoring and coaching
  • Strong problem-solving ability and effective employee management experience
