Position Summary
The Sales Manager possesses the overall responsibility for total revenue and yield strategies,
implementation and results. Strategies will include market mix, pricing, status, direct sales and
marketing. Accountable to market performance and potential performance as well as budget,
forecast, and target goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, forecast, and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales production, growth, and profit goals.
* Responsibility to work globally to ensure Company Budgets are exceeded or met.
* Manages CRM and Project pipeline to ensure milestones and timelines are regularly being met
* Support and encourage a strategic coaching relationship with Sales team.
* Identify skills gaps, and business challenges and develop appropriate action plans with Sales team.
* Conduct regular strategies ( touch bases to provide individual feedback, assignment status, goal review, and coaching.
* Provide business systems and technical support to Sales team and customers.
* Active engagement in ongoing employee recruitment, retention, and mentorship of current team members.
* Resolve customer challenges when escalation is necessary.
* Look for, record, and report trends, challenges, and issues to the GM or MD.
* Attend regional and national industry specific conventions, symposia, conferences, and other events as necessary.
* Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
* Conduct monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and end of year business reviews with End users and Management team.
* Identify, understand and advance opportunities for getting designed-in at new/existing
customers.
* Gather market intelligence, including but not limited to customer applications, end customers, demand, trends, technological alternatives, competitors, other material and equipment players.
* Travel to visit customers up to 50%-75% of the time.
* Perform any other job duties as assigned.
